Join the Georgina Paranormal Society for the first public meeting of 2024 on Thursday, May 30, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Forrest and Taylor Funeral Home, 20846 Dalton Rd, Sutton.
We are pleased to present our guest speaker this month, Hayley Nielsen. Hayley is the owner of Life & Death Doula Hayley. She is a certified death doula, reiki practitioner, and student reflexologist and is currently studying funeral celebrant. She is also a volunteer for Hospice Georgina.
In her own words, "I consider myself a life and death doula because I embrace living fully, and I am passionate about having a "good" death. I look forward to discussing how a death doula can support the community."
Discussion topics will include:
- What a death doula is
- What they do during the end-of-life stages
- How they compare to hospice
- When you may need one
- And specializations.
There will also be a Q&A period wherein you may ask questions and share your experiences with others in a safe, non-judgmental and supportive environment. See you there!
